Ingredients

SPICY CHEDDAR JALAPENO POPPER CHEESE BALL

  • 16oz reduced fat cream cheese (2 packages), room temperature
  • ¼ cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 Quest Spicy Cheese Crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup cheddar jack cheese, shredded
  • 6 bacon strips, cooked and chopped
  • 2 jalapenos, finely diced
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, sour cream, spices, half of the crackers, half of the cheddar cheese, ¾ of the bacon and ¾ of the jalapenos.
  2. Add the mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap and pull up the sides and cover tightly, shaping into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Combine the remaining cheese crackers, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapenos and green onion in a shallow bowl, cover and chill.
  4. Once the cheese ball is chilled, unwrap it and roll it in the cracker/cheese mixture, covering it entirely.
  5. Serve with your favorite veggies and serve.
