Ingredients
QUESTIFIED FROSTED COOKIE TOFFEE BARK
- 5 tbsp butter
- ¾ cup pecans, chopped
- 6 tbsp heavy cream
- ⅓ cup zero calorie sweetener
- ⅛ tsp sea salt
- 8 oz chocolate (2 sugar free chocolate bars, chopped)
- 1 Quest Chocolate Frosted Cookie, chopped
Method
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Place the butter and pecans into a pot over medium–low heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes and pecans are toasted.
- Mix in the heavy cream, sweetener and salt. Once the mixture starts to bubble, reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 7–10 minutes. The mixture will thicken.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a microwave safe dish. Spread half of the chocolate in a thin layer over the wax paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- Spread the toffee mixture over the chocolate in an even layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes before spreading the remaining chocolate over the toffee layer (you can pop it back in the microwave for a few
seconds to rewarm if needed). - Top the chocolate with chopped Quest Frosted Cookie crumbles and then place in the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour. Break into 20 pieces and serve.
