“We are trying to make this weight management program different from others because it isn’t a diet. It’s not something that’s going to get you quick weight loss and then you are going to regain it when you can’t sustain it anymore,” advises Renown Outpatient Dietary Educator Stephen Compston, RD, LD, CDE. “We want to make achievable and sustainable changes that can be lifetime.”

Among the success stories during the six-week program is participant Melissa Sim’s six-pound weight loss.

“Some of the most important things I’ve learned are portion control. It’s made me more mindful of being able to choose my options. Instead of reaching for this, I reach for that,” advised Sims.

The six-week Weight Loss Program was designed by registered dietitians, who also help participants achieve their goals through one-one-one recommendations.
